A love story told on a summer evening by the lake–birds in the background, the soft grass underneath your feet and some great music that sets the rhythm for the party late at night.
Ammersee, Germany
For this wedding, we had been lucky with a beautiful late summer day. As the sun was setting, my photography eye and heart opened up and I was running around, capturing the sparkling golden light that reflected everywhere. Those short moments make my work extremely joyful and playful to me.
My aim is always to photograph emotion without a lot of direction — to capture what exists naturally between silence and self-awareness. Colours, contrasts and composition guide the story of my images rather than overt styling or pose.
